After much hard work in the backyard, we had a picnic dinner on Lake St Clair along with a little fishing. Literally "little"! Sean caught two "little" small mouth bass that Jonathan threw back.
Lake St Clair is a kept secret in the Pac West and less than 5 miles from our house. Whenever the opportunity prevails we try to head out there. Jonathan and Sean fished, while I enjoyed my newest read (Hold Me Tight) by Dr. Sue Johnson. Suppose to be reading The Enchantress of Florence......BORING!!


Another great day, ended with a great kiss from the Boy ;)

After much hard work planting sod last summer, this summer Sean and Jonathan are pulling it up from the roots and transforming our oh so very small stamp pad into a tropical paradise!
Jonathan was a huge help mowing the grass prior to pulling the sod up.
Our neighbor Jason graciously spent his entire Saturday working in our yard!!! Jason is from Texas and has true Texan Grace!! Sean would still be working had he not came and helped out! Thank you Jason!!
Jonathan and Sean worked diligently to uproot this tree! Don't worry, two are being planted to replace this one.
