Fall is so Beautiful here in the Pacific NW & these past 2 weeks have been extra Fantastic! The mornings have been Cool, Crisp, & lazed with a dense layer of Fall Fog. And yet, the days have been full of Warm Sunshine & Summer Time 60/70 Degree Temps. Our endless amount of trees are already ever changing into vibrant colors. I just Love It!
Our Fall has been so consumed with Fall Soccer thus Far. J is playing on an All Boys Soccer League this year, much more competitive, Much More time Consuming, & a ton of fun for all of us.
Jonathan is playing up in his age bracket again this yr. He’s 9 now & playing on the 10-12 League & you would never notice a difference in Size or Ability. He is still Rockin the Field!
A couple of yrs ago I discovered Honey Crisp Apples, a now All Time Fall Favorite!!! These are the tastiest, juiciest, burst of flavor in your mouth Apple!!! I took a bite of one at J’s game last Saturday & lucky I looked down before the next bite b/c the Bee’s evidently Love Em too! They are pretty pricey, averaging $3.00 bucks a pound. A friend of ours had us over for dinner on Friday & we had an Apple Tasting Party (rather than wine) & they gave us an enormous bag full of them fresh from the Apple Orchards near Leavenworth!
I’ve been spending Much time with this Fabulous Lady!!!
Ya’ll know Beth Moore right? I’m taking another one of her classes & if any of you have ever taken one of her studies, you know just how AWESOME & TIME CONSUMING it can be!! It truly has been Great! I just love how she says “Were All in this thing we call L…I….F….E !
- Were still on track to move, a much slower track, but we will be moving into the new house in Mid November.
- J is excited that Papa will be in town next week on business & will be able to take him to the Pumpkin Patch like last year. We were planning on going this Friday, but J insisted that he is waiting for Papa B. I love that even though he is getting older, he still adores his Papa!
- I’m spending an hour a week in J’s class, I love that it!!! For all the wrong reasons, but I love that Jonathan is soooooooooooo embarrassed to have me there & that I can give the girl that he talks way too much about the “stink eye”!! ;) And, I will admit that I do enjoy working with the other kids, J finally realizes that I know more than just folding his clothes & cooking his meals!
- I still have 15 LONG weeks to go in this pregnancy. We will have another Ultra Sound in 2 weeks now, were praying that we will have some Good News!!
- We have finally agreed and decided on her name!! ;)

I have to give these apples a try! I've heard this a few times before. I have an apple every day... big fan. I like Jazz they're my favesies.
ReplyDeleteI bet it is beautiful up there this time of year!
p.s. ur blog header makes me want a bowl of cereal real bad!
ReplyDeleteLove your header, that 1st photo of the Fall leaves + honeycrisps. They are so yummy! I have taken a Beth Moore Bible study and you are right...time consuming. I did Fruits of the Spirit and thought it was great.
ReplyDeleteKatie,
ReplyDeleteMy dear.... It sounds like this fall is full of joy! I love honey crips apple too, in fact we can get them for about 2 bucks a pound here and Madison goes through them like water!
Which Beth Moore study are you doing? I've done many of her studies and am always amazed at what I get out of them! I've always loved David of the Bible and kind of liked the character of Paul, well after doing both studies... my thoughts on each flipped!
Take care of yourself and your beautiful family...including that sweet little girl! (Can't wait to find out her name...15 weeks !)
Take care my friend,
Dee Dee
