FIVE, FOUR, THREE, TWO, ONE...BLAST OFF....

In approximately 3 1/2 days Sean and I will be getting married, and tomorrow we leave to head to CA. CA being one place that the two of us have actually not been to together! What a sport that Sean agreed to my Dad's offer of having us get married at his home without ever even being there!!!! Wow, Sean you are brave!!!! ;) In more ways than just one too, he has been brave enough to go on many adventures with me and I have posted just a few of my favorite photos of just some of the places we have been together since we started dating.
Spider Seannie!!! Look at him go!!! This is at the 90 Foot Wall in Tahoe, CA! Sean was taught to climb at the age of 12 by his Mom Joan and Step Father Jim, both phenomenal athletes!

Leavenworth, WA at the Run of the River Bed & Breakfast in the Osprey Room where Sean surprised me with an on the knee proposal! Sean said he had to work in Yakima that weekend and came home early and surprised me at work with a phone call to say to pack an over night bag. We went to our favorite Bed & Breakfast that we have been to many times and as we arrived Monte the Inn Keeper showed us to our room with a bigger than normal smile. Sean got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I don't remember anything other than blubbering "Yes". He gave me a BEAUTIFUL ring that was his grandmothers Wedding ring that his Mother Joan gave to him to have a ring made out of it for me right before Joan got ill with cancer. The ring is beautiful and Sean absolutely adored his Grandmother Martha who had a very long and loving marriage to her husband before she passed a few yrs. back.
A few from our room that Karen took for us the next morning after breakfast at the Lodge. Leavenworth, WA is by far the most beautiful place I have ever been to in the Fall. I previously never held a candle next to Lake of the Ozarks, MO in the Fall, but the scenery here is like no other!!
Y.S. Falls, Jamaica. This super nice Jamaican man lead us all around the Falls to the perfect locations for pictures and was our own little personal photographer. He would lead us to a spot and tell us to sit there and he would take our photos. He also carried around our stuff too while we swam and Sean played tarzan on the ropes.
Sean givin me some lovin at the Y.S. Waterfall in Jamaica. A trip we took with friends in December 2008.
The second night we were in Jamaica, Sean surprised me with an incredibly romantic dinner for two on the beach at sunset. It's something the hotel offers, and Sean was the only romantic man in the entire hotel that night because we were the ONLY ONES ON THE BEACH eating dinner. It was the most amazing date EVER!!! I will never forget how beautiful the view was and how the ocean sounded as the waves lightly crashed in.

Sean and I canoeing on Lake Tahoe. I have such a big smile here because I had tried to whack Sean with my paddle into the Lake. As you can see, it was not a success, for he snuck up behind me for a photo after my attempt. I wanted him to test the temp. of the water ;)
Myself, Sean, Joan, and Jim on a day of Rock Climbing in Trippy Rock, Tahoe! Joan at the age of 69 yrs old, 6 months prior to this picture taught me how to Rock Climb in North Bend, WA. She was simply amazing!!! Joan passed away on Good Friday, 2009 to a fight against leukemia.
Climbing at Trippy, Tahoe. Climb, Katie Climb....
Almost there! Climbing is my new favorite sport!!!! My BIG calves have finally found their purpose ;)

After climbing 90 Foot Wall near Emerald Bay in Tahoe, CA
This is a great picture because this is me learning how to skate ski on Sleeping Lady in Leavenworth, WA. Sean's Mother Joan taught me how to Rock Climb and Sean taught me how to Cross Country Ski on our first trip to Leavenworth, WA. I caught on to Cross Country Skiing very quickly because it's much like running except with a pair of ski's on. However, skate skiing is a bit more complicated. Although, after an hour or so I was on the course trying to keep up with Sean. Sooooooooo darn Fun!!!
First trip to Leavenworth, WA to Cross Country Ski.Sean and I have enjoyed so many great adventures together. I just could not post pictures from all of them. We are constantly going, going, going and it has been so much fun. Other places that we have been that I did not post were to Mississippi, Louisiana, San Francisco, Oklahoma, Missouri, Wisconsin, Oregon, and a ton of weekend getaways here in WA! Sean is a native traveler and started traveling with his Mom a former flight attendant and his Dad a former Pilot at the age of 4 weeks. We will head to CA tomorrow for Our Wedding at my Father's Home and then to our Honeymoon to Oahu and Maui Hawaii! It's my prayer, that our adventures have just yet to begin. Sean has been a true blessing in every way and I could not have asked for a better companion, we simply just have a wonderful time together! I love you Sean, and I promise to get off the computer now and go pack ;) muahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
