Our trip starts out taking a trip to visit the Pearl Harbor Memorial. Straight back is the Arizona Memorial. 
Behind Sean is a replica of a Japanese Zero Fighter Plane used to shoot down the American Wild Cat Planes during the attack of Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941. This plane was very successful early in the Pacific Theater at shooting down our planes, but as the War progressed the Americans learned to use teamwork to gain the advantage over this highly successful aircraft. Or, so I'm told this info. by Sean (he is a TOTAL WAR GEEK)!!!!! ;) That is just one of the reasons I love him so much. He is so passionate about serving his country!!! Sean's father was a pilot for the Marines during the Vietnam War (F-8 Crusaders) and Sean wavered back and forth between becoming a Pilot himself or a Calvary Man. The Calvary Captured his heart, as he wanted to serve with other Men!

Finally, something I found interesting on the U.S.S Missouri......THE MENU!!!!!!!! ;) Although, it did not list Chocolate Cake and Ice Cream ;(

The entrance to the U.S.S Missouri, one of the ships that survived the attack of Pearl Harbor and most known for being the location of the Japanese signing over their surrender to the U.S. It was so amazing to see how the Sailors lived aboard this Ship, although, I just can't imagine living in such confinement.
